Hi,
I just wanted to let you know, that I compiled successfully the gx samples with sound on under macOS Monterey on Apple silicon. So maybe it's possible to change that on github? (I just deleted the macOS part of the sound functions in 'gx.bm',)

Hi william33 , That's awesome! Yes, I was excited to see that fix added to the latest QB64 version. I'm planning to remove that restriction on macOS as soon as I publish the next GX release. There are a few other enhancements and fixes that will be included as well. Also, would love to see your GX game creations!

I know this is an old thread but unfortunately with macOS Sonoma sound dosen't work anymore. Starting a program which was compiled on an earlier version of macOS still works with sound. But compiling a program under Sonoma will not produce any sound whatsoever.
