Some time ago there was a mention of a pretty interesting tool for viewing/working with markdown files called Obsidian. According to their website, it states: A second brain, for you, forever.Obsidian is a powerful knowledge base on top of a local folder of plain text Markdown files. Given that description, it seems like it's kind of an alternative to OneNote - but is open source, uses standard markdown files and you could leverage something like git to actually enhance it with source control features (given it is normal text). So, what does any of this have to do with QB64 I sense you wondering? In the {qb64} \internal\help folder are all of the help files for QB64 stored locally on your machine. You can open this folder up in Obsidian and have a pretty awesome, dedicated, view of the integrated help side-by-side with the QB64 IDE. Additionally, if you so desired you can even modify/enhance the local copy of help with your own notes. (Note: Requires QB64 v2.1.0 or greater.) If you give this a go, please share what you think of the idea.
