DEF FNA(x)
is not implemented in QB64. I know I can use a FUNCTION to get the same effect but that has to go at the end of the program. All the old BASIC programs (and there are thousands) that use DEF FN have the functions defined at the beginning of the program. Is there any plan to make QB64 compatible with QBasic's DEF FN statement?

This is not implemented in QB64 yet, as per my knowledge.

yeah and likely never will be, this qb64 is only being maintained for old qb64 basic lovers.
i think def fn... was dropped when code had to be compiled to run, ie when qb64 crawled up on land and sprouted wings in it's evolution, def fn... is like gills or appendix to humans, no longer needed because we are no longer fish nor eating bark to survive.
